That dirty plate is killing me.  As if they EAT like normal people.  AS IF.

edit to add: And like, are you serious? He was a famous dude, living in a world where vanity was valuable for survival. WAKE UP CLARK GABLE. WAKE UP DUDES WHO THINK VANITY IS THE WORST.

Ugh, seriously. It makes sooo much sense for Clark Gable and everyone in the Hollywood scene to value women primarily on their appearance and then expect them not to give a damn about how they look.

Also, apparently all of these ~glamorous~ ladies wake up with a full face of makeup already applied by magical makeup fairies the night before.
